Driving from the East
Head north on Highway 71, passing through Nestor Falls and Sioux Narrows toward Kenora. When you reach the junction with Highway 17, head west and take the bypass around Kenora. After the highways merge again west of town, continue driving west for approximately 20 miles.
Watch for Highway 673 on your left—this is the turn to Shoal Lake. If you miss it, you’ll soon see the "Welcome to Manitoba" sign, which means you’ve gone too far.
Highway 673 is 10 miles long. Drive through the reserve and continue straight ahead. At the fork on the hill with the tower, keep left toward the lake—you’ll see it ahead. This will lead you to the boat launch and store, where we will meet you.
Please remember to call the lodge when you're about an hour away, so we can be ready to pick you up at the dock on time.
