About Us

Shoal Lake Lodge is an Indigenous-owned fishing and adventure lodge located on a private island in the heart of Ontario’s breathtaking 80,000-acre Shoal Lake. As the only lodge on the entire lake, we offer an exclusive wilderness experience for anglers, outdoor enthusiasts, and those looking to truly disconnect and recharge.

Our guests enjoy access to world-class sport fishing for Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth, and Largemouth Bass, with a strong commitment to conservation through our catch and release policy for all bass and trophy pike. We provide premium fishing boats, including 17.5' Crestliner Pro Tillers and Lund Alaskan deep-V hulls powered by reliable Yamaha outboards—trusted gear that ensures both comfort and performance on the water.

At the heart of the island is our Main Lodge, a warm and inviting log-built centerpiece featuring a stone fireplace, cozy seating, and a dining area where we serve hearty breakfasts and dinners. Guests can enjoy sunrise views from the east deck, relax with sunset views on the west side, or gather on the front lawn for our Saturday welcome BBQs. A computer station and Wi-Fi within the main lodge is also available to stay connected if needed.

Rooted in respect for the land and guided by Indigenous values, Shoal Lake Lodge is more than a fishing destination—it’s a place of connection, tradition, and unforgettable natural beauty. Whether you're here for the trophy fish, the peaceful escape, or the sense of community, Shoal Lake Lodge is where lasting memories are made.
